Job Description Summary

Be an active, efficient and effective member of the Erin Mills Town Centre Guest Services team.

Provide premium customer service through established programs, including but not limited to providing information, support and shopper services to customers and other visitors

Act as a liaison with tenants and other departments

Maintain a “beyond the booth” demeanor - Guest Services does not stop at the kiosk and should be carried out at all times.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all patrons and retailers by being knowledgeable about the Erin Mills Town Centre property and offerings

Sale of Erin Mills Town Centre Gift Cards which includes daily deposits, shift reports and more

Manage telephone, email and in-person inquiries

Opening and closing duties per the Guest Services Supervisor

Prepare and manage various customer tracking initiatives

Provide customer assistance with all available shopping centre services

Assist other shopping centre personnel (Security and Maintenance) in providing an exceptional customer experience and promoting a safe and clean environment

Assist with various on-site promotions and events by setting up tables, chairs and stanchions

Cultivate relationships with the shopping centre’s retailers and continually be aware of store sales/promotions and offerings

Monitor the online presence of the shopping centre and its retailers on a daily basis in areas such as; the Erin Mills Town Centre Website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.

Inform the Guest Services Supervisor of any email inquiries and respond when required

Monitor shopping centre events and retailer sales/promotions, and promote the activity on social media as required

Collate various documentation for shopping centre distribution, compiling and updating store and directory information, ballot counting and assisting with various display set-ups

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace

Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of administration supplies, gift cards, etc.

Other duties as assigned by the Guest Services Supervisor

And most importantly, ensure that Erin Mills Town Centre customers leave the shopping centre with all of their needs met

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills with a drive to go above and beyond

Ability to work in a team environment

Superior written and oral communication skills

Be able to lift items up to 25 pounds

Various computer skills such as Microsoft Office

Competent in an online environment such as social media (facebook, twitter etc.) and website etc.

Creative and self-motivated

Must be available to work all shifts, days, evening and especially weekends.
