　　Summary: Coordinate the activities of the production function to achieve company goals. Complete daily production requirements in a cost-effective manner which meets or exceeds good manufacturing practices and employee safety performance. Assist in training and coordinating work assignments within the production department.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Ensure the accurate completion of all departmental records and support all processes to produce products that meet specifications.Meet costs that are equal to or less than standard. Coordinate activities between departments to ensure that materials are delivered and stored safely.Encourage and promote teamwork, continuous improvement, and properly train employees to complete their function in a safe and efficient manner assuring safety of all employees.Develop and execute daily production plan which effectively utilizes all materials.Communicate effectively with Plant Superintendent regarding product quality, equipment failure or malfunction to meet production demands.Assists in production plans and purchases production supplies.Guide employees on sanitation procedures. Work 12-hour shifts and weekends during the production months or when directed by Plant Superintendent. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:

　　Knowledge of raw product preparation, packaging, and thermal process.Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees.Knowledge of required procedures (FDA, USDA, OSHA, AIB, GMP).Capable of making quick decisions.Must be organized and flexible.3-5 years of related experience in food processing. Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment.Must be able to endure prolonged periods of standing and walking on concrete floors.Must be able to lift to 50lbs at a time, using proper lifting techniques and assistance if greater than 50lbs.
