This is a Job Description for a Groundskeeper -- Emerald Pines in Gulfport, Mississippi

　　Summary: Gorman & Company is looking for a part time Groundskeeper to work approximately 20 hours per week. Grounds keeping is one of the most important jobs for maintaining community housing properties in a safe, attractive, and comfortable condition for our residents. Gorman & Company is looking for an experienced part time groundskeeper who is committed to providing first class grounds keeping / landscape services as part of a collaborative maintenance team.

　　Duties & Responsibilities: Work with our maintenance team to perform grounds maintenance such as lawn services, maintaining shrubs and gardens, spraying insecticides and clean-up. Outdoor building maintenance - painting, light bulbs, install and/or maintain fences. Assist outside contractors and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Assist in supplies inventory control and upkeep of all ground's equipment. Complete corrective maintenance by completing service requests. Assist with unit preparation to include painting, cleaning, repairing and/or replacing appliances, plumbing, and/or electrical fixtures. Emergency maintenance/On-Call when needed.

　　Previous grounds keeping / landscaping / maintenance experience required. Excellent mechanical aptitude with ability to operate lawn equipment. Must be able to read work orders / service requests. Good safety habits. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
