- - Associate degree in accounting, business, computer science, finance, or related field required. Bachelors degree preferred.
[Two (2) years of experience in office or financial field required.]{arial",sans-serif"=""}Two (2) years of experience in managing and monitoring budgets for federal, state, and local programs preferred.Two (2) years of experience with policies and procedures of federal, state, and local programs preferred.[REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:]{arial",sans-serif"=""}
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a group setting.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines as part of a fast-paced, problem-solving team working with minimum supervision.
A commitment to the teaching-learning process of the community college and the open-door admission process.
Ability to make decisions in accordance with laws and regulations and applies them to work problems.
Ability to coordinate assigned activities.
Ability to help plan and supervise the work of subordinates.
Ability to understand and carry out moderately complex oral and written instructions.
Knowledge of advanced word processing, including merge functions, database, and spreadsheet (Computer Level II Exam).
Working knowledge of office procedures, general office procedures, GSCC procedures, composition, machine transcription, and records management (Office Procedures Level II Exam).
