Position Summary
The Grants and Sponsored Program Accountant is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on financial transactions related to grants and other contract activities of the College, ensuring compliance with funding requirements while maintaining effective budgetary controls, and preparing respective financial reports. This position will work closely with the Research and Sponsored Programs Administrator.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge with grants and contracts business practices and regulatory guidelines including Federal guidelines
Experience in budget analysis and preparation and financial reporting related to grants and contracts
Ability to work collaboratively across units
Knowledge and experience in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Uniform Guidance
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency with financial databases and competency using Microsoft Office suite

Position Salary Range $60,000 - $70,000 annually
