　　You are applying for a role as a Grant Writer for a cooperative agency that works on creating a better world for Adults with Disabilities. This means that your primary duties will be researching, writing, and submitting of grants proposals to foundations and other grant-making organizations to secure revenue to achieve fundraising goals for the agency. The Grant Writer holds overall responsibility for growing the organizations grants portfolio. The Grant Writer will serve as a key member of the Development & Marketing team dedicated to supporting sustainability by stewarding strengthened and deeper connections between stakeholders. Areas of primary duties and responsibilities include grant writing, strategy, and acquisitive planning.

　　Qualifications and Requirements:

　　Position is part time remote position.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required with English, Communications, Business, or wrtiitng heavy related degree preferred.2-4 years of experience in professional grant writing for for-profit and nonprofits.Demonstrated knowledge of grant-seeking process and proven track record of securing grant funding.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail, especially in writing, editing, proof reading, and phone presentation.Proficiency in all other MS Office Suite products and Adobe Acrobat.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact, communicate professionally, and clearly articulate the mission of the collaborative agency and its mission/vision. Sense of humor is a plus.Excellent organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.Able to multi-task, prioritize, and work both independently and in a team.Comfortable working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.Positions available is remote.
