　　We are hiring for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our team on a full-time, direct basis at our Lehigh Valley office in Bethlehem, PA.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Assist Engineers (Staff and Senior level) with the execution of multiple concurrent geotechnical projects.Work with internal clients (Staff Engineers, Geologists, Designers, etc.) while also coordinating efforts with external customers (clients, drilling subcontractors, etc.) to ensure effective workflow.Work with Field staff as well as coordinating with clients & contractors during construction.Perform various site visits.Assist with / perform geotechnical engineering investigations; this involves preparing reports and developing recommendations.Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed.* *

　　Basic Requirements:

　　Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (preferably a BS in Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural Engineering).

　　This person will be expected to work regularly in the field, so they will be required to possess a Valid Driver's License as well as Reliable Transportation.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　FE / EIT (we expect this person to obtain their EIT in PA within a year of their hire, if they don't already have it).Basic Geotechnical Engineering experience.Professional experience working on construction projects; ideally, this person is capable of coordinating and overseeing field-based construction inspection operations.Experience with observing and documenting construction activities (e.g.: concrete placement, deep & shallow foundation construction, earthwork, infiltration testing, basic survey & layout activity, test pits, test borings, etc.).Proficiency on standard office software applications, especially Microsoft Office 365 (including Word, Excel, and Outlook).Familiarity with engineering tools (e.g.: geotechnical engineering software, CADD, etc.); exposure to AutoCAD and/or gINT is a plus!Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision while displaying a positive attitude.Excellent organizational skills:  this person will be expected to multi-task / prioritize multiple assignments effectively in order to proactively balance their workload while meeting deadlines.Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
