Chemours is seeking a Global Supply Chain Director to join our growing team! This position will report directly to the VP, Business Operations Technology - TT.

The successful candidate for this position will possess supply chain training and multiple years of experience in the field while having the leadership and change management skills to implement innovative, customer centric approaches to further advance the Transformation process of the business. The Director of Supply Chain will drive the SOP process, working closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance to balance supply and demand of raw materials and finished product while optimizing inventory levels to meet customer requirements. In addition, the candidate will lead a coordinated and nimble team globally to respond to business needs in ways that optimizes service levels to our customers throughout all market cycles. The successful candidate will be able to effectively manage day-to-day responsibilities and consider long-term strategic needs of the business.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop and implement a differentiated supply chain strategy to optimize the business model from raw materials all the way to finished product distribution in the globe

Identify and deploy customer-enhancing value propositions to advance customer loyalty as a competitive advantage

Drive innovation and leadership in digital and analytical tools, automation, sustainability footprint and end-to-end supply chain design

Create and foster a high-performance culture, focused on engagement, accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and a sense of urgency

Coordinate planning and execution of the Chemours Titanium Technologies global supply chain, which includes three production plants in North America and a global network of distribution and warehousing sites

Lead Titanium Technology sales and operations planning process including managing systems and process to enable plan and schedule adjustments while ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives. Establishing raw material plans, production plan and distribution plan for plant consumption and over 100,000 global shipments per year; develop targets and execute plans to optimize raw material and finished product inventory levels to support production and customer service level objectives. Sponsoring models used for supply chain optimization and recommending actions to the business team. Preparing finished product distribution expense budget and forecast. Responsible for the management and oversight of inventory level for raw materials and finished product.

Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Logistics, and Finance to maximize revenue earnings and minimize cost to serve during all market cycles

Makes confident, fact-based, decisions and acts on decisions with a sense of calculated risk-taking

Approaches problems from different perspectives to suggest and implement innovative solutions

Forecasts issues in advance to prevent potential impacts; both internally and externally

Facilitates communication between team members to ensure efforts are aligned

Direct the global trade and Customs team to be in compliance with Chemours regulatory policies of export, transfer pricing and duties assessment and management

Direct the OMP implementation as the business owner for TT and collaborate with all functions to maintain the project timeline and resource requirement

The following is required for this role:

10+ years progressive experience leading towards in a global supply chain organization

Supply Chain Management Professional Certification

ERP systems experience

Bachelor's degree in a supply chain or a related technical field

Demonstrated ability to build effective teams, integrating development of internal capabilities and bringing in external perspectives

Strong networking and communication skills

Travel up to 20%

The following is preferred for this role:

Understanding in business economics and network modeling desired

Proven knowledge in developing and leading an enterprise-wide SOP process

Pay Range (in local currency):

$169,344.00 - $264,600.00

Annual Bonus Target:

27%

Annual Stock Amount

65,000.00 USD

The pay range and incentives listed above is a general guideline based on the primary location of this job only and not a guarantee of total compensation. Factors considered in extending a compensation offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, and alignment with market data. The incentive pay is dependent on business results and individual performance and subject to the terms and conditions of the specific plans.
