　　Location: In commutable distance to Schaffhausen, Switzerland (hybrid)

　　How you will contribute to ASP:

　　The Director, Strategic Sourcing will lead and elevate the global strategic sourcing organization with buyers, commodity and category leaders, with teams located in the US and Europe. This position will drive supplier management for key commodity categories, cost savings improvements, and provide supply directional strategy for the company. You will have a large impact on Fortive/ASP profitability, working capital improvements, and work with our R&D organization to drive VAVE.

　　Work together with cross-functional teams in engineering, project management, manufacturing, quality, planning, marketing and suppliers to identify and drive total cost savings, security of supply, innovation, and process improvement.

　　Manage the supply base to achieve operational and procurement metrics such as: savings (PPV, VAVE), delivery (OTD & Past due), quality (PPM), lead-time, payment terms, and innovation.

　　Responsible for running, negotiating, and contracting with critical and strategic suppliers and ensuring that agreements reflect Fortive/ASP's needs globally.

　　Accountable for developing and maintaining risk mitigation plans inclusive of compliance for designated suppliers within assigned categories with businesses or functions.

　　Facilitate early engagement and collaboration with engineering to understand technical needs, contribute to roadmap creation, and enable alignment of requirements with supplier capabilities for both sustaining engineering and NPI.

　　Drive the sourcing and supplier selection process to support Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations' goals and objectives.

　　Assess market conditions, identify industry standard processes, and emerging trends to identify new cost reduction and value creation opportunities.

　　Support Planning in communication of the demand forecast as vital to ensure supply continuity, and capacity availability.

　　What will make you thrive in this role:

　　Demonstrated experience in global and sophisticated (electronics) manufacturing procurement or supply chain management.

　　University degree or equivalent experience in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering is preferred.

　　Excellent project management and people and cross-functional team leadership skills.

　　Strong analytical, research, communication, and negotiation skills.

　　Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines; able to balance short-term, urgent needs with long-term strategic initiatives.

　　Experience in Lean manufacturing, supply chain and inventory management, ideally prior experience with the Fortive Business System.

　　Ability to travel globally, 40-50%.
