About Global Pricing Analyst

  Emerson has an exciting opportunity based in Shakopee, MN as a Global Pricing Analyst. You will bring value by collaborating with leadership across the organization to deliver analytics and insights that enhance our price performance. Your role will be integral in redefining our pricing processes and supporting price initiatives cross functionally.

  In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  Collaboration and Analytics:

  Collaborate with global pricing, product, and sales managers to deliver comprehensive analytics, tracking the impact of price initiatives throughout the organization.

  Quantify and report monthly global price metrics using Oracle analytics and other visualization tools, supporting strategic decision-making.

  Insights Synthesis:

  Synthesize business and market intelligence to unlock actionable insights, providing valuable price recommendations for different product groups.

  Drive the development of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking and measurement dashboards to offer continuous feedback on business performance.

  Ad-hoc Reporting and Analysis:

  Deliver ad-hoc reports and analyses to influence real-time decision-making, ensuring responsiveness to dynamic market conditions.

  Standardization and Best Practices:

  Develop and standardize reporting standard methodologies, encouraging effective and consistent pricing strategy implementation across all global regions.

  Evaluate and implement new tools and approaches to continuously improve data transparency and availability.

  Data-Driven Methodologies:

  Develop improved data-driven methodologies for quantifying pricing success, contributing to the evolution of the organization's pricing strategies.

  Administrative Oversight:

  Lead all aspects of daily administrative responsibilities associated with the North American pricing software, ensuring smooth operations and data accuracy.

  For This Role, You Will Need:

  Bachelor's degree

  Experience using analytics tools in a business setting, including Excel and report building software

  Minimum of four (4) years of related experience

  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting

  Experience with PowerBI or Oracle Analytics

  Experience leading pricing software

  Proficiency in statistics and dataset analytics
