Global Partner Marketing Executive (remote)
Job Description
Join SUSE's growing Marketing Team as a Global Partner Marketing Executive!
T his is a role that will enable you to flex your creative, communication and collaboration skills. You will collaborate with a list of strategic partners (IHVs) and key stakeholders within SUSE to create messaging and global campaigns that excite and resonate with our customers. Your end goal? To help the SUSE sales team and your strategic partners drive new opportunities and grow our footprint within existing customers. You will manage, leverage and influence marketing and other teams within SUSE in your quest.
Focus Areas: Understand the key sales objectives for your strategic partners and SUSE stakeholders.Work with sales stakeholders, product /campaigns marketing and strategic partners to develop messaging and programs or campaigns that can be easily replicated across by field marketing teams around the world.Produce and disseminate content to support the joint partner messaging or programs/campaigns.Be the "subject matter expert" on your strategic partners to your marketing colleagues.Collaborate with Field Marketing and other teams to execute planned activities in the field .Develop and communicate the best practices for working with your strategic partners internally , highlight ing and promot ing successes.Build and maintain a marketing plan for your strategic partners.Work closely with the rest of partner marketing to share information and insights and actively contribute to joint projects for all partner types.Lead the strategic marketing efforts with your partners and tactical execution of tasks, including but not limited to:Creating social media messagesProviding content and suggestions for activities in SUSE ChampionsOrganizing and executing on partner-related webinars (creating invitations, registration pages, finding presenters, execution, follow-up, metrics management and anything else that is required for the success of the webinar )Manage "live" partner-related e vent s ( creating invitation s , registration pages, execution in collaboration with the global events team, speaking engagements, metrics management and anything else that is required for the success of the event)Produce campaign materials needed for content syndicationCreate messaging including the copywriting in collaboration with partner, sales and product stakeholdersAgree upon and create the "better together" story to illustrate why a customer should consume SUSE technology alongside a partner 's technology /servicesFind effective ways of communicating and disseminating this "better together" story to SUSE & partner sales teams and end-user customersProactively s uggest and recommend marketing activities that can be funded o ut of MDF to SUSE and partner stakeholdersManage the MDF spend in the same manner as marketing budget to ensure that funds are fully allocated and utilized within the timescales set by financeDiscuss and negotiate with the strategic partners to ensure equity when rolling out joint programs, campaigns or activities to ensure that both sides are co-investing and collaborating, in the form of funding, marketing efforts, both sales forces inviting atten dees e tc.Required Skills & ExperienceBA or BS in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related qualifications.Previous marketing experience in the tech/IT industry is essentialExperience working with and through partners will be valued in this role.Solid organisational skills to work with and manage a variety of projects, in conjunction with other colleagues and teams is essential.Demonstrably strong written/oral communication and analytical skills ; good copywriting skills are highly preferredPersonal attributes:Strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to work as part of a team.Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of the organisation and functional disciplines.Ability to influence and drive consensus.Growth mindset and can-do attitudeJob
