Duties:YOUR IMPACT:* Synthetic Product Group (SPG) Operations is looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent teamwork, organizational, communication and risk management skills. You will need to multi-task well and adapt quickly to an ever-changing list of demands. The individual will work closely with counterparties and various internal stakeholders and should have the ability to communicate to all levels within Sales and Trading, Engineering and other Operations groups. The role has a heavy focus on risk management and client service.

BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW:* The SPG Operations team within Operations facilitated equity swap and related products for our clients, and is ultimately responsible for accurate booking and settlement of trades in support of our clients. Our success is derived from a combination of process efficiency and adherence to controls and risk management principles. We excel at finding commercial solutions that meet our clients' needs without compromising risk, control or service levels.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL:* Work directly with Prime Brokerage clients and external brokers to settle client trades and resolve any trade-related issues* You will have a book of clients that you will be responsible for. Your objective will be to develop those client relationships and provide first class service across the trade life cycle* Tap into investigative skills to find answers to client queries and solutions for issues that arise* Partner with technology on change-the-bank initiatives to enhance the client experience or mitigate risk* Investigate exceptions in our internal books and records to identify resolution, and escalate issues as they arise* Analyze and improve processes and procedures with an eye for reducing risk and eliminating repetitive effort* Help influence client behavior to achieve superior operational and client service outcomes
Skills:BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:* Operations experience, preferably in derivatives. Ideal candidate should have an understanding of equity derivatives. Knowledge of current industry focuses and structured transactions a plus* Experience with managing a team and leading projects* Excellent team player, able to work well inside a group and broadly across an organization* Proven ability to organize and prioritize own workload and drive results* Experience managing risk and a control framework* Ability to multitask and work in high pressure environment* Strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated confidence in communicating in a variety of forums and with varied audiences, including: formal presentations,...
