Job Description:

　　Geotechnical Engineer

　　Dubai, UAE

　　Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Geotechnical Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to design ground engineering solutions for a wide variety of infrastructure and development projects across Dubai, the rest of the UAE and the wider Gulf region.

　　What You'll Be Doing:

　　Prepares standard geotechnical engineering computations / analysis, including soil-structure interaction where required.

　　Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable.

　　Prepares, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs including specifications.

　　Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.

　　Reviews small and portions of larger supplier drawing submittals and assists in performing technical bid analyses.

　　Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.

　　Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower level Engineers working on the same project.

　　Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

　　What Required Skills You'll Bring:

　　Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or related field).

　　At least 3+ years of related work experience.

　　Experience in geotechnical / soil mechanics analysis and design.

　　Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.

　　What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

　　Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate is an advantage.

　　Working knowledge of Ground Investigation scope development, execution and interpretation.
