　　Geospatial Analyst Advisor

　　Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Geospatial Analyst Advisor at GDIT. You’ll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). 　　HOW A GEOSPATIAL ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

　　● Performs data analysis, interpretations, and management duties. Develops rules and methodologies for data collection and analysis, and employs data science methodologies to analyze and visualize patterns, trends, and predictions within geospatial data sources

　　● Works with a team of operational watch officers, and software systems developer to deliver critical information to client leadership

　　● Develops a Common Operating Picture using the modern geospatial tools

　　● Supports a dynamic, world-wide DTRA mission that adapts to real-time events

　　● Creates and communicates a vision of how to best harness geospatial capabilities

　　● Mentors less experienced members of the team

　　● Architects, develops and deploys geospatial tools

　　WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

　　● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience

　　● Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience

　　● Required Technical Skills: minimum 8 years of experience using geospatial information systems (GIS) and GIS software that includes ESRI, Google Earth, and ARC GIS; must have Security+ CE cert

　　● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI

　　● Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to lead technical teams for development; Ability to communicate technical information to client leadership

　　● Preferred Skills: Skilled at developing and configuring ARC GIS and EGIS

　　● Location: Hybrid, On Customer Site 3 to 4 days per week
