　　Responsibilities:

　　Interpret lab values and conduct scheduled remote consultation visits with patients

　　Must be available for at least 5 hours/week to see patients

　　Request further diagnostic tests as necessary based on patient outcomes or requirements

　　Evaluation of patient’s medical history, physical findings and diagnostic/laboratory data

　　Initiate and prescribe drug therapies, diet/exercise therapies, topical and systemic therapies

　　Provide culturally reflective services that are individualized to client needs and reflect the integration of race, ethnicity, culture, primary language, immigration status, sexuality, age, and gender

　　Cultivate an environment of trust and compassion between patients and providers

　　Collaborate with other SteadyMD clinicians

　　Requirements

　　Masters Degree in Genetic Counseling

　　Board Certification by the Accreditation Council for Genetic Counseling (ACGC)

　　3+ years of experience in clinical genetics and/or diagnostic laboratory preferred

　　Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice as a genetic counselor in any of the following 33 states

　　State licenses preferred: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin

　　Observe, abide by and conform to all laws, customs, and practices of the genetic counselor profession in the areas served by SteadyMD

　　Abide by prevailing national and state professional and ethics standards, including but not limited to the National Society of Genetic Counselors and the American Telemedicine Association
