Role Responsibilities: Provide advice, counsel, guidance anddirection to clients and Registered Financial Representatives on thepurchase and sales of securities. Keep informed of developments in thesecurities markets. Executes equity, debt and options order transactionson behalf of the Financial Representatives. Determines customerfinancial needs, risk tolerance, suitability and understanding of thesecurities markets. Combines this information with fact-finders\' takenby Financial Representatives including portfolio analysis. Based on acombination of market knowledge (investment market fundamentals andtrends) and customer knowledge, counsels and educates customers onappropriate investments. Recommends investments based on the informationgathered. Provide guidance on various Fixed Income solutions toRegistered Financial Representatives as well as create and deliver BondLadders upon request. Establishes credibility and develops relationshipswith Registered Financial Representatives and their customers tocontinuously assess their financial needs and make recommendations.Deliver guidance, direction, education, and assistance in setting upvarious asset backed lending solutions based on client\'s needs. Keepsinformed of developments in the securities market using fundamentaland/or technical research to arrive at sound and timely investmentdecisions on behalf of Northwestern Mutual clients. Offer RegisteredFinancial Representatives security guidance and research reports uponrequest using third party research. Ensure accurate processing inexecuting equity, debt and option transactions on behalf of theFinancial Representatives; ensure all trades maintain compliance withsecurities industry laws and regulations. Provide counsel, guidance, andassistance to Registered Financial Representatives in the establishingoption and margin features on client\'s accounts. Operate within allethical and regulatory requirements of the FINRA, SEC, MSRB and SIPCregulations. Maintain compliance with all NMIS Trading Servicespolicies, procedures and standards. Work closely with RegisteredFinancial Representatives regarding control or restricted stock. Prepareanalysis and reports to Registered Financial Representatives and theirclients regarding employee stock options. Qualifications: Bachelor\'sdegree in business or business-related fields. Broad professionalknowledge of the investment/retail brokerage industry and a variety ofsecurities products gained through a minimum of 3 to 5 years in a retailbrokerage sales capacity.
