　　The Amazon Business Payments team builds and operates payment acceptance solutions for businesses shopping on Amazon Business Japan, including our flagship solution, Pay By Invoice (PBI). We are part of the global Amazon Payments organization, who aims to delight our customers by building payment experiences and financial services that are trusted, valued and easy to use from anywhere in any way. Now, after 5 years of start-up growth, we are looking for a leader to take Amazon Business Payments in Japan to the next phase of growth and development.

　　This leader will be responsible for a growing, diverse and multi-disciplinary team across credit, marketing, business development and business operations. He/She will define the vision for Amazon Business Payments in Japan, working in close partnership with the global Amazon Business Payments organization (based in Seattle) as well as the local Amazon Business Japan organization (based in Tokyo). He/She will be the guardian of sustainable growth and profitability of the JP business including oversight for risk management of the credit portfolio to support Pay by Invoice. Finally, he/she will define the next wave of payments innovation and expansion in Japan by understanding business customer needs and financial service industry trends, working internally and through external partners to bring these experiences to life.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　Define the three year payment product strategy for business customers in Japan, aligned with Amazon Business growth priorities

　　Manage key stakeholder relationships across Amazon Business, Global Amazon Payments, Product/ Tech, Finance and Operations

　　Advocate for resourcing and prioritization within the global Payments roadmap to support Japan specific priorities

　　Govern the operation and portfolio health of the Japan credit portfolio resulting from the growth of Pay by Invoice payment method

　　Build a network of internal and external partner relationships to sponsor innovation and business growth to the next level

　　Hire and develop the best team out there, including functional teams across credit, marketing, business operation and business development. This is a manager of manager roles, and the team is expected to grow in the next 12-36 months.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Bilingual - English and Japanese proficiency

　　10+ years of managing a multi-disciplinary team

　　Experience influencing cross-organizational priorities at the leadership level

　　Financial acumen to manage a P&L for a large and growing business

　　Experience operating and leading within a global organization

　　Financial services/credit background a plus, but not a must-have

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Experience working in Financial services and/or credit industry

　　Experience in technical product management, specifically roadmap trade-offs between features and roadmaps
