　　The Role at a glance:

　　We are looking to add a motivated, effective General Manager to our Constellation team in Hamilton, NJ at Grounds for Sculpture. As a GM, you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team of food service workers and manage all aspects of a food service department to ensure that customers and clients never miss a meal. The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the cafeteria, restaurant (Rat's; fine dining Michelin Star restaurant) and catering/event departments.

　　Compensation: 100,000 plus bonus

　　What you'll be doing:

　　Managing all functions of the food service department and its resources.

　　Manage and lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.

　　Ensuring that staff meet all culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.

　　Budgeting for the department, including directly purchasing ingredients and ensuring the account meets all targets and forecasts.

　　Conferring with the district manager or other departments regarding the technical and administrative aspects of dining service.

　　Addressing customer service needs.

　　What we're looking for:

　　Must-haves:

　　At least five years of experience coordinating food service operations.

　　Has experience in multiple disciplines; fine dining, retail (cafe), catering and quick service management experience required.

　　Experience managing large teams, including multiple department heads. Overall staff of 150 & 10-12 managers.

　　Strong focus on people & culture. Creating a positive and healthy work environment for all.

　　Has extensive food & beverage knowledge including; French cuisine, French & American Wines, and Craft beers & Cocktails.

　　Willing and ability to work the required flexible schedule of nights, weekends, and holidays.

　　Previous experience with high volume locations.

　　Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with both hourly staff and company executives.

　　The ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services and satisfaction.

　　Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.
