General Laborer/Deburring Specialist-

　　Essential Responsibilities:  

　　Perform all functions of deburring such as finger sanding, belt-sanding, retapping, lapping, filing, scraping, sanding with sandpaper and Scotch-Brite and counter-sinking with hand machine drills;Ability to use drill, press and Bridgeport machines;Cleaning parts with various substances;Load and unload parts from tumbler and sandblaster;Pick up machined parts from machining groups and deliver finished parts to inspectors;Sort, count and tag parts before delivering to inspectors;Perform visual inspection to meet customer's specifications;Ensure overall cleanliness of area;Ensure that proper maintenance is performed on all equipment for this area;Follow and maintain all department policies and procedures;Enter data as required into company computer system;Adhere to Employee's responsibilities outlined in Cygnus' Health & Safety Policy.

　　Required Experience/Credentials:

　　High school or trade school graduate with good mechanical capabilities;Ability to use calipers or measuring devices to meet department requirements a plus;Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and have a cooperative, team spirit;Frequent lifting or moving of materials up to 50 lbs.; May be required to work up to 10 overtime hours per week and may be temporarily assigned to other areas of the shop;Ability to work in a manufacturing shop environment (including hot, cold and/or noisy areas);Frequent hand to finger, handle, feel objects & tools, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking and hearing;Physically submit to periodic drug tests (employment is contingent upon favorable results)
