JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our client is seeking aUtility PoleFramerforthereCameron, WIoperations. Regular duties include inspection, cleaning,measuring, cutting and drilling wood as directed. Other duties that aidin the production of utility poles may be assigned. The work is outdoorsin all weather conditions. Position may require overtime and/or weekendsas business demands. Principal Responsibilities: Inspects and verifiesquality and classification of all round stock to ANSI, ASTM or Corporatestandards. Operates hand and framing tools to cut, drill, gain, brand,tag, clean and prepare poles for treatment. Documents and reportsmaterial processed. Maintains tools, equipment, supplies and work area.Assists in inspection of all round stock products. Assists in receipt ofmaterials, tallying, identification, records and information. Assists inoperation of full length and deep incisor as required. Operates pole tagmachine to manufacture aluminum tags as required Participates andcontributes to company safety program. Performs other duties asassigned. Qualifications: Able to read drawings and specification Ableto learn and acquire new skills Experience utilizing hand tools andpower tools; drills, gainers, peaveys, hammers etc. Must be able to liftup to 70 lbs Knowledge of wood products and defects preferred Reasonableaccommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities toperform the essential functions of this position.
