　　SRFA Job order required info: Consultants please conduct a seatedinterview. Dates of need are 3/5/2024-11/15/2024. This order is for workin, Declo Idaho area. Applicant `MUST HAVE` 20 days experience as ageneral farm worker/irrigator/livestock worker and the name and numberof the reference who has first hand knowledge and can verify the workersexperience. Worker will be required to perform a variety of dutiesrelated to the production of barley, hay, potatoes, sugar beets andwheat. General Farm Work will include the following responsibilities:maintain, drive, attach and operate farm implements/tractors/equipmentto till soil, plant, cultivate, fertilize and harvest crops; removerocks from field; paint farm structures; perform general clean up offarm areas; remove weeds from crops or farm grounds; drive, load/unloadtrucks; operate motor bike or all-terrain vehicle in the course ofperforming duties. Irrigation duties will include the following: Handlines: connect pipes; check alignment of pipe and adjust for properwater distribution; attach lines to water supply; turn on pump; turnvalves to start flow of water; disassemble lines and carry pipes acrossfields at specified intervals; move pipes through freshly irrigatedcrops and/or plowed fields where mud may be deep at times; lift andcarry pipe sections weighing approximately 40 pounds on a sustainedbasis. Wheel lines: start gasoline engines and operate controls to movelines across fields at specified intervals. Pivots: change tires/gearboxes and general repair. Other Irrigation Duties: remove pipes/wheellines from storage and lay out/place in predetermined patterns infields; lubricate, adjust, repair and replace parts such as sprinklerheads and drive chains using hand tools; observe revolving sprinklersand adjust to ensure proper operation and uniform distribution of water;disassemble, service and store pipes/mainlines/wheel lines afterirrigation season. To meet minimum acceptable performance standards whenirrigating, the worker must, after a 10 day conditioning period, move anaverage of at least 48 40-foot sections of 3-inch pipe or 44 40-footsections of 4-inch pipe per hour under normal working conditions. Dutiesrelated to the Cutting/Sorting of Seed Potatoes will include thefollowing: Will apply techniques as instructed by the employer to cutand sort potatoes by: using knife to cut potato into sections; placepotatoes on machine that cuts potatoes into sections; general cleanup.Duties related to the Packing of Produce will include the following:Will apply techniques as instructed by the employer to: discarddiseased/rotting/inferior product and foreign matter; clean up aroundconveyors and worksite. Duties related to the Harvesting of Potatoeswill include the following: Will apply techniques as instructed by theemployer to: remove rocks from rows in front of harvesting equipment;discard diseased/rotting product, rocks and foreign matter; alertequipment operator of equipment clogging/malfunctions; aid operator incorrect machine performance.
