　　We are seeking a General Accountant to update and maintain financial records to student accounts, analyze information to prepare reports, balance sheet reconciliations, cash account reconciliations, interact with other members of the University administrative staff and campuses to ensure accounting processes and procedures are being followed.

　　Responsibilities

　　Maintenance and reconciliation of student account ledgers

　　Perform reconciliation of banking activity

　　Process and reconcile payments from multiple sources

　　Execute data entry and reconciliation for bank accounts

　　Prepare audit schedules as required for multiple 3rd parties (DOE, external auditors, banking information, etc.)

　　Work on select sub-systems (both internal and external) as needed for monthly reconciliation

　　Interact with 3rd parties regarding student payment information

　　Qualifications

　　Education / Work Experience:

　　Bachelors degree preferred or relevant work experience

　　Work experience to include general ledger accounting for multiple locations including, but not limited to, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and deposit reconciliation, two years preferred

　　Previous experience in Microsoft General Dynamics (Great Plains) system a plus

　　Skills / Abilities:

　　Ability to quickly master new concepts, programs and computer applications

　　Highe proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel

　　Ability to organize and prioritize work flow

　　Ability to work efficiently with high level of accuracy

　　Ability to meet deadlines

　　Ability to work with minimal supervision
