Job Description Summary

　　An internship with GE Aerospace Communications provides valuable exposure to a full array of global communication skills, disciplines, and functions. The successful candidate will work closely with the communications team to deliver tangible results across a spectrum of internal and external opportunities. A person in this role will help the organization with strategic project management, writing, editing and additional activities that help shape the story of GE Aerospace, both internally and externally. 　　Conduct research, and align with business units to write content in support of communications plans and strategic prioritiesProduce digital content, such as infographics, newsletters or other collateral to use on communications channels, featuring employees and company programs to support key initiatives and messagesProactively identify opportunities to include strategic messaging and content to broader internal and external audiencesAssist with intranet management, content writing, editing, and other communication projects as neededProvide support for company events and/or meetingsSupport impromptu communications deliverablesWork with employees and managers at all levels and from various sites to achieve communication goalsRepresent the organization on various internal committees/teams

　　Qualifications:

　　Rising Junior/Senior with 3.0 GPACommunications, Journalism, English, or other relevant majorProven writing skillsPreference given to candidate who has completed a prior internshipProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media tools and web-based newslettersDetail oriented with skills in editing and proofreadingWilling to work in Cincinnati, Ohio for core team days

　　Benefits:

　　Pay rates for this position begin at $20/hour. Relocation assistance and housing allowance is available for those who relocate to a new city.
