Job Summary

Plans and schedule for day-to-day operation of the Horticultural Department.

Responsibilities and Duties

Apply general and accepted practices for pruning, fertilizing disease/fungus control and maintenance of residential and commercial properties.

To work and oversee up to 2 crew members.

Responsible for paper work, documentation, photographs, client recommendations and scheduling site visits.

Perform estimates and sales to clients.

Assist in Landscape Department as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

5+ year experience in landscape maintenance and horticulture or related field. 

Skilled in proper pruning techniques and general garden bed maintenance.

Strong knowledge of annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs.

Proper use of both organic and chemical treatment for disease and insect control.

Valid driver's license

Valid DOT Health Card or the ability to obtain one 

Pesticide and/or MCLP licenses a plus
