GA Pre-K Assistant Teacher | Norcross and Peachtree Corners

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Georgia Pre-K Assistant Teacher for our school in Peachtree Corners on Crooked Creek Road. No nights or weekends! We are hiring now, and would love to meet you.

Pay Rate: Starts at $16.94/hour with 40-hour workweek.

Higher pay rates available based on education, experience, and certifications.

Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:

Help implement the Georgia Pre-K curriculum to prepare our children for success in kindergarten.

Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Assist the lead teacher in preparing lesson plans and instructing children in age-appropriate activities, according to the Georgia Pre-K curriculum.

Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.

Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!

Requirements

Minimum of a CDA/TCC required.

Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Six months of experience as a teacher in licensed childcare preferred.
