It is a great way to dip your toe into the working world before deciding what to do next. We have a variety of roles on offer spanning across all business units at IBM, some include; Operations Professionals, Executive Support Assistants and Strategy Coordinators just to name a few. You'll be working alongside fantastic IBMers on real client challenges whilst adding business value to our company and clients. There are so many things at IBM for you to get involved in, both inside and outside of your role to really help you make the most out of your placement. We have fantastic learning facilities, and you will have two managers to help guide and support you through your time at IBM.
Have a particular interest in Technology? We also offer Technical Futures roles as well as Business! We have a variety of roles on offer spanning across all business units at IBM, some include; Developers, Package Consultants and Software Engineers just to name a few.
The majority of our roles are located in are London, however we do have a small amount of roles also available for Warwick and Manchester. When you complete your application form, you will be able to include your location preference.
Your Role and Responsibilities
The Recruitment process:
This scheme is for those who do not have a degree and are not currently studying for one
The process is quick and there will be no waiting round for weeks on end.

Exploration Sessions will be the 13th, 15th, 20th and 22nd of February, so ONLY apply if you can make this date, exploration sessions will be virtual.
There are three stages of the recruitment process. You will need to pass each stage to move onto the next one.

Futures Placements run from July/August/September 2024 for 12 months.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Do not have an Undergraduate Degree or are studying for one!
Achieved GCSE's at level 4-9 in English and Maths
Eligible to working in the UK for the whole placement (UK/Ireland passport/ Settled or Pre-settled status)
Enthusiastic - we don't ask for any prior experience to apply but we do ask you have plenty of energy and passion for the area you are applying for!

About Business UnitOn a Futures Placement, you will be working in an innovative, creative and exciting working environment. Our placement schemes span across all business units and there are so many opportunities for you to get involved in both inside and outside of your role. We encourage all our early professionals to take the opportunity to participate in networking, mentoring, learning and give back. You will also have two managers. A task manager who works with you on your role and a Foundation manager who helps you get the most out of your placement and provides support along the way.
