JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Position Summary: As Manager of Walk toEnd Alzheimer\'s, you join an exclusive team of leaders responsible forthe implementation of Walk to End Alzheimer\'s, the world\'s largestfundraiser for Alzheimer\'s care, support and research. Walk to EndAlzheimer\'s ranks as the second-largest peer-to-peer fundraising eventin the United States, and continues to set the pace as one of thefastest growing walk events in the country. Utilizing your provennetworking and relationship building skills to cultivate key communityconnections, you will drive success and achieve revenue goals bystrategically identifying and engaging community and corporate leadersand building and empowering sustainable volunteer committees. As asuccessful fundraising leader who will manage multiple peer to peerfundraising events annually you will generate excitement and enthusiasmin the community for Walk to End Alzheimer\'s, coach and inspire yourvolunteers to implement and build on proven strategies and bestpractices that result in event growth year over year. This role is rightfor you if: You have proven success at building sustainable corporateand community relationships that contribute to achieving event revenuegoals, greater community participation and heightened brand awarenessYou have successfully recruited, managed, and coached volunteers toeffectively implement best and proven practices to achieve fundraisinggoals OR you are able to effectively assimilate our custom training onpeer to peer fundraising and leverage your sales/relationshipdevelopment background to recruit, manage and coach volunteers toimplement best and proven practices to achieve fundraising goals Youhave managed or are capable of managing multiple volunteer-ledmass-market events simultaneously that have resulted in revenue growthyear over year You are known as a convener and have successfully built apositive, healthy, and inclusive team environment that has resulted inlong term community relationships You love a challenge and have achievedor surpassed designated revenue and participant goals through team andindividual fundraising, corporate solicitation, and communitypartnerships You have demonstrated success at prospecting, cultivatingand stewarding event teams, sponsors and participants You have excellentcommunication and organization skills and are comfortable with managingevent budgets, training volunteers, working to set timelines andmilestones and using data to affect positive outcomes What you...
