What you will be doing in this role:
The Data Report System Analyst will provide the data analysis and reporting tools vital to guide effective donor-centric and data-driven decision making in support of fundraising priorities for Cedars-Sinai. The position’s primary responsibilities include the strategic oversight of prospect, donor and gift data, the translation of business use cases into actionable reports and dashboards, oversight and development of the business intelligence environment, and the application of analytics to help build the prospect pipeline for a variety of fundraising initiatives, including principal gifts, major gifts, planned giving, annual giving, and events.
Under the guidance of supervisor, design and implement reporting and data visualization tools that inform effectiveness of fundraising programs.
Apply strategic business intelligence, data analytics and data modeling to guide prospect identification, segmentation and acquisition.
Develop data collection plans to ensure that the department has the necessary information to produce robust reports and analysis in support of campaign goals.
Maintain project plans and timelines for various initiatives.
Serve as data assets specialist and participate in cross-functional teams and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in computer science, healthcare administration, statistics or related major required. Master’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of one year of experience in data management system and reporting or similar experience required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or other relational CRM highly preferred.
Skills/Experience Sought:
High level of proficiency using T-SQL to query departmental databases.
Familiarity with Tableau/Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) preferred.
Ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented team environment required.
Experience in healthcare philanthropy or other complex non-profit organization is highly desirable.
