Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a top Partner in Fulton, Maryland. The role involves maintaining and updating financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, managing payroll processing, and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial records.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.

Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payment and collection.

Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.

Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Payroll and Timesheet reconciliation.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial records.

Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support.

Assist with tax preparation and filing.

Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.

Utilize accounting software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Provide administrative support as needed.

Supervise a team of 3 Accountants.

Requirements

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. 5+ years.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP, Unanet).

Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
