Job Title: Full Charge Bookkeeper

Location: Stamford

Type: Contract to Hire, Onsite

Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 3:30 PM

Robert Half is currently representing a well established commercial real estate property manager who is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper on a contract-to-hire basis. They prioritize work-life balance, providing a schedule that runs from Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 3:30 PM.

The successful candidate will have more than five years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeping role and will be expected to handle accounts payable, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and trial balance reports for over 20 properties.

Key Responsibilities

Handle full cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Carry out bank reconciliation

Prepare journal entries

Oversee all financial reports on a regular basis

Manage month-end closing

Handle trial balances

Requirements

Qualifications

5+ years of Full Charge Bookkeeper experience

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of Yardi is a plus

Solid understanding of general ledger

Real estate or property management background preferred

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
