Our client is looking for a dynamic Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their staff. A demonstrated ability in overseeing cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close, will be critical to the success of this Full Charge Bookkeeper role. Your responsibilities in this role
Maintain Accounts Payable
Accomplished in credit card management and reconciliation
Condense business license and gross receipts
Produce cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Oversee monthly accounting close
Log budget transfers
Alternative special projects as requested
Manage Accounts Receivable
Provide cash flow projections, as needed
Ready monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Sort sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Draw up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement Requirements - Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
Noteworthy accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferredStrong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Adeptness in Job Cost
Month end closings experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Command of Accounts Payable (AP)
Overhead Rates experience highly desired
Great attention to detail
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
