Noexperience necessary, no minimum education required; applicant must be18 years of age and complete company application. Progressive Solutionsmaintains a drug free workplace & workers may be subject topost-employment drug testing as required by government contracts.

  Work consists of using backpacks to apply herbicides and using othertools to control vegetation in rights of way, rangeland, wildlife areas,industrial sites, and other areas. After 3 weeks of training, traineemust be able to identify plants, follow established procedures, &properly apply herbicide mixtures at a minimum of 20 gal. per day. Jobrequires physical stamina to walk 10 miles/day over rough terrain,carrying 35lbs of equipment, in adverse conditions (hot weather,poisonous plants, insects, and snakes). Work will be done on tracts ofland varying in size from less than an acre to 1,000s of acres. Allequipment provided by employer at no cost to the worker.

  Employment will start in Monticello, AR at an hourly wage of \$14.11where trainees will undergo paid training. Trainee must travel todesignated location independently and attend all training. Company willprovide training & pay test fees for applicator certification.

  Extensive travel required during work period lasting approximately 7months from 4/1/2024 to 11/1/2024 throughout all areas of intendedemployment in AL, AR, AZ, CA, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD,MO, MS, NC, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, and WV.Employer offers optional transportation to the trainees from designatedrally location to daily job sites & between work locations.

  Employer will pay the cost of lodging to the extent such costs wouldreduce pay below the offered wage rate for the area of intendedemployment.

  H2b trainees will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa,visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including thosemandated by the government, incurred (except passport fees).

  Travel expenses and subsistence from the place of recruitment to firstwork site will be reimbursed sixth (6th) pay period or at 50% completionof the work period, whichever is least. Upon completion of the workperiod or where the trainee is dismissed earlier, employer will arrangeand pay for transportation and subsistence back to place of departure,except, where the trainee will not return due to subsequent employmentwith another employer or voluntary abandonment of employment. The paidexpenses for transportation shall be equal to the costs charged by themost economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.Daily subsistence pay for inbound and outbound travel shall be at least\$15.46 per day without receipts or a maximum of \$59 per day withreceipts.

Employees may qualify for a discretionary bonus based ontotal wages upon completion of work. Basic employment is 40 hours per week, M-F, 7:30am to 3:00pm; but weekly work hours can fluctuate due toweather & contract schedules with some Sat and Sun required. Trainees who hold a valid drivers license, meet allcompany driver standards and pass company driver test may be offeredadditional work hours to transport workers and/or materials.

  The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computingwages due. Workers will be paid on Friday (weekly) by check. Paydeductions as required by law.
