　　About the team

　　Amazon Verified Permissions (AVP) is seeking a Front-End Engineer to design, build, and support software solutions for our customers. You will be part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of the customer experience - from the visual interface to the back end services. You will be working with new technologies that improve usability and increase performance and scalability. You will help redefine normal for this segment of the market. You will help translate business requirements to technical deliverables and deliver operationally stable solutions that provide a good customer experience.

　　We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

　　Arlington, VA, USA

　　Basic Qualifications

　　4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience

　　Knowledge of agile development and best coding practices including peer code reviews, and unit testing

　　Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

　　4+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence

　　Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react

　　Experience deploying to WebAssembly from Rust
