Title: Front Desk Supervisor Program: Renewal HouseSalary Range: $40,000 Program Description:Renewal House is a congregate care supportive housing program located in the Bronx. Renewal House provides supportive housing to up to 50 single adult men who have a history of substance use. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Under the general direction of the Program Director, with some latitude for independent action, the Front Desk Supervisor directs a staff of Front Desk aides, in providing direct assistance to the clients in adhering to the rules and regulations of the program; performs related work. The essential duties of the Front Desk Supervisor include but are not limited to the following activities:Performs all Front Desk Attendant dutiesOversees the operations of the facility, including emergenciesSupervises and provides training for new hires, informing them of all policies and procedures as outlined in the front desk manual Coordinates weekly scheduleReviews and documents incident reportsReviews logbook prior to shift concludingProvides crisis intervention and shares pertinent information with appropriate staffProvides on-call coverage during non-clinical hours as necessaryReports directly to the Program DirectorParticipates in the design and implementation of program improvements, policies, procedures, and other strategic planning efforts.Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed.Works flexible days and hours during weekends and holidaysConsistently review front desk binders for up-to-date and accurate documentationAssist with administrative duties and day-to-day activitiesPerforms other duties as assigned by the Assistant and Program Directors.Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED and experience working with homeless/formerly homeless, substance use, and mental health populations.Fire Safety Training Completion preferred.Trained in De-escalation & Cultural competencyTrained in Opioid Overdose PreventionSpanish Speaking Preferred. All newly hired Project Renewal staff must provide verification of being fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
