Duties: Organize, confirm, process, and conduct all guestcheck-ins/check-outs, room reservations, requests, changes, andcancellations. Secure payment; verify and adjust billing. Activate andfile room keys. Process all guest requests and relay messages. Printcontingency lists to have a record of all guests in case of emergency.Identify and explain room features to guests; supply guests withdirections and information regarding property amenities, services, andhours of operation, and local areas of interest. Ensure that anyoutstanding requests or problems from the previous day receive priorityand are resolved. Run and review daily reports/logs. Utilize a computeror keyboard to register guests, make reservations, and all shiftprocedures. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in thecomputer system. Accept and record wake-up call requests and deliver toappropriate department. Count bank at beginning and end of shift; securebank. Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs,correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges; provide change. Followall company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, andunsafe work conditions to manager; ensure uniform and personalappearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality ofproprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledgeall guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guestsservice needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests withgenuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professionallanguage; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop andmaintain positive working relationships with others; support team toreach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations andstandards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Someareas of the Inn are stairs access only. Must be able to lift up to40lbs. All other duties as assigned. May work day, evening, or overnightshifts - 7am-3pm, 3pm -11pm, 11pm - 7am.
Education/experience: No educational experience is required. No workexperience is required.
Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wagesdue & workers will be paid weekly. Optional housing may be availableemployer can assist in finding housing; if elected, weekly rate may varyfrom \$85 - \$125 depending on type & style. If the employee chooses toutilize these services then they will be payroll deducted. If housing iselected, housing deposit can be payroll deducted - \$200 or greater.Wage increases may be available based on performance and/or pastexperience. Some meal service may be available if employee elects toutilize such a service then they will be payroll deducted. Employer willmake all deductions from the workers paycheck required by law. Employerwill reimburse employee of all visa, visa processing, border crossing,and other related fees, included those mandated by government, incurredby the H-2B worker in the first work week. The employer will pay fordaily subsistence at least \$15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of\$59.00 per day with receipts. The employer will provide the workers atno charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform thejob. Shift will vary based on business demands; open 7 days per week.Typical work hours are 3pm 11:00pm but may vary based on business needs.Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least s of theworkdays in each 12 week period of the otal employment period. If theworker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will, in thenext pay cycle, reimburse the H-2B worker for transportation andsubsistence costs from the place from which the worker has come to workfor the employer to the place of employment, as required by 20 CFR655.18(b)(12). Upon completion of the work contract or where the workeris dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workersreasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home orto the place worker originally departed to work, except where the workerwill not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. Theamount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to themost economical and reasonable common carrier for the distancesinvolved.
