ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a FPA Manager supporting our UTEC business under North America Building Technologies Business.

This position will be based in Monterrey (Mexico) and will report to the Associate Director of Finance of Building Technologies Business. This position will serve as a key member of our Building Technologies Finance team to support the management of UTEC PL, cash performance, and other key financials.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the UTEC FPA team to act as the key finance business partner and work closely with business management and operations to drive financial performance improvements.

Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results and initiating corrective actions.

Oversee the reporting of accurate and timely financial information for the abovementioned business.

Regularly review/analyze key performance trends (orders, backlog, market growth, share, sales, margins, etc) to understand and communicate the risks and opportunities of the business.

Review new business proposals, including capital investments, and provide recommendations

Provide technical, and financial subject matter expertise to the business leadership team.

Prepare ad hoc analysis and investigations as requested by leadership.

Be vocal in driving an ethical culture in support of Carrier policies and procedures.

Drive a culture that embraces and strives for continuous improvement.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Adequate English level to handle fluent and assertive conversations across global teams (written and spoken).

BA/BS degree with 8+ years in finance, or a related role.

Experience independently managing PL.

Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present his or her recommendations effectively and drive actionable results in the organization.

Adaptable, detail-oriented, and works well within a collaborative team

AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Agree to work on site and commute to Santa Catarina.

Availability from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Currently on a Sr. FPA role.

People managing experience is a plus.

Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent).

Experience with SAP and HFM.

Carrier internal candidates are preferred.

Strong leadership skills to build the best team.
