Description:
Position Purpose:
Providing administrative and project support for MercyOne North Iowa Foundation's leadership and development team. Responsible for gift processing, data entry, special mailings, data maintenance and reporting and other duties as assigned by the Foundation development team. Assists with managing calendars, preparing operational and philanthropic fund expenses, filing, and serving as the general office clerical coordinator by supporting the overall goals of the organization.
What you will Do:
Responsible for gift processing, data entry, data maintenance, and general clerical duties
Utilize Blackbaud CRM software for all fundraising record keeping, including but not limited to entering contributions and pledges, running performance reports, updating and sending gift acknowledgement letters, recording donor interactions and preferences, etc.
Maintain donor files and records required by licensing and regulating authorities
Manage office calendars and logistics for board meetings and other Foundation events and meetings
Assist as needed with coordinating donor communications such as personal correspondences and direct marketing communications for channels such as emails, direct mailings, newsletters, and social media
Provide general administrative support to Foundation team members to accomplish the mission of the organization and assist with special event preparation and attend event-day activities (includes occasional evenings or weekends)
Hours/Schedule:
Full Time, Monday - Friday working 8AM - 4:30PM
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Office Administration
2-3 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
Experience with gift processing, data entry, and data maintenance.
Strong attention to detail and a conscientious work ethic
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
