This company seeks an experienced Forklift Technician with a solid background in maintaining and repairing a range of material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and walkie riders. Candidates must have expertise with propane, gas, and diesel engines, as well as proficiency in electrical systems ranging from 24 to 36 volts. Applicants should also possess their own tools to be eligible for the position.

salary: $45,760 - $56,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Electrical, 24-36 volt, working on pallet jacks, reach trucks, sit down forklifts and walkie riders. Must have your own tools to for this position. Must be willing to help Maintenance team when needed

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 10 hours at one time

working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

Reach Truck Operation (3 years of experience is required)

Pallet Jack Operation (3 years of experience is required)

Electrical (3 years of experience is required)

Blueprint Reading

Maintenance (3 years of experience is required)
