Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring all product and materials areloaded, unloaded, and processed through the warehouse in a timely andaccurate manner using a motor-powered forklift. Team members will befully re-trained and certified on forklift during orientation.

Qualifications

3 Month Operator Experience LISTED on the Application. Can be aCombination of Employers as long as the Experience is LISTED onapplication is at least 3 Months.

Need full range of motion of arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck,all digits, and legs. Must be able to stand for extended periods oftime with a sense of balance.

May work with corrective lenses if vision problems.

May be provided PPE for additional hearing protection as needed.Cold Storage Experience Preferred.

Must pass post offer health assessment and drug screening.

Responsibilities

*All new hires start out as case pickers, after probationary periodwill be cross trained into other tasks.

During your work shift, which will consist of up to (12) hours, youmust be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace andwilling to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, up to (40) pounds.As part of efficiently completing job tasks, a handheld scanner willbe used to track products as it is loaded, unloaded, and movedaround the facility.At certain times, other job duties may be part of the routine.Follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.Sub Duties (May be required to work any or all of these positions)Receiver - Receives product accurately into the building usingPIT.Put Away - Pulls product that has been received and puts it intothe racking. May be required to palletize or split pallets.Replenisher - Pulls pallets from racking to replenish pickfaces.Picker - (Case picker/Order Selector and full pallet picker)pulls product either in single or full palletized form to filland build customer orders.Loader - Loads trucks with product in an efficient manner thatwill avoid product damage or loss.Environment

Most of the time will be driving PIT including stand-up forkliftsand reach trucks for extended times in damp and cold environmentswith temperatures ranging from -5 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. (Up to12 hours)You will be provided a freezer suit, hearing protection, gloves, andheadwear as part of your personal protective equipment (PPE).Team members will furnish their own boots and must wear either steelor composite toe boots that conform to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI ratingwith a slip resistant sole that covers the ankles. (Composite toepreferred) Tyson will purchase a pair of boots for you after 30 dayson the job or you will be reimbursed up to a pecified amount.Team members will be driving stand-up Crown PIT Forklifts and ReachTrucks.
