These tasks encompass timber sales, recreation projects, and invasive species control, among others. You will work closely with the professional staff to ensure the successful completion of these activities, contributing to the overall management and conservation efforts of the forestry department.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment (internship)The employment period will occur between the dates of 5/1/24 - 8/30/24.Work hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Tuesday- Thursday; 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Friday.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. QUALIFICATIONSInternship Requirements:Current full-time enrollment in a two-year degree, bachelor's degree or advanced degree program in one of the following acceptable majors:ForestryEnvironmental SciencesEnvironmental Resource ManagementAn approved major course which includes a qualifying 24 credit hours of study in the physical, biological and environmental sciences may be acceptable.Freshman year completed.Good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher)Pennsylvania residency or enrollment at a Pennsylvania college or university
Additional Requirements:This position requires possession of a valid Class C non-commercial driver's license.You must be able to perform essential job functions.
