　　DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs an intern, you will be working closely with foresters and forest technicians to conduct trail assessments and mapping for trail projects and road/stream crossings. You will also be responsible for surveying campsite boundaries and developing geographical information systems (GIS) layers for lease inspection tracking and reporting. Your duties will include recreational area surveying, timber management, cooperative forest management, and forest fire prevention.

　　QUALIFICATIONSInternship Requirements:Current full-time enrollment in a bachelor's degree or advanced degree program in one of the following acceptable Majors:ForestryEnvironmental ScienceGeographical Information Systems (GIS)Freshman year completed.Good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher).Pennsylvania residency or enrollment at a Pennsylvania college or university.
