Carpentry Foreman

Mon. – Fri. / 7am – 4pm
Commercial Finish and Rough Carpentry tasks
Job Description:
• Responsible for the day-to-day onsite management of
projects
• Provides direction and supervision to crew
• Perform demolition, concrete work, framework and other construction related tasks as needed
• Orders materials, tools and equipment, Knowledge of OSHA regulations and how to handle OSHA
inspections
• Communicate with Project Manager on organizing and coordinating work schedules
• Complete and submit paperwork as needed by management
• Establish and maintain positive relationship with team
members
• Work with owner & architect to conduct final inspections, oversea job clean-up and ensure timely completion of required work
items
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1-2 years commercial carpentry experience
Ability to assign tasks/manage crew
Work Environment:
Shop based out of Ames - projects in Ames area, Huxley, Ankeny, Johnston, and DSM Metro.
Team environment/family oriented - Looking to grow crew - Lots of long term potential/new projects
Requirements:
Drug screening & Back ground check
Valid drivers license
Own basic tool kit
Work in Ames daily
