Job Description:Under close supervision, the Food Service Associateperforms a variety of food service duties.
Posting SpecificsShift: Hours may vary; majority of shifts will be 8:00am - 4:30pmFull-time 40 hrs/weeklyPay Range (updated): $17.29 - $21.92/hr
ScopeThis position is both culinary and customer service. The position will becross trained in several areas in order to cover vacations, work in severalareas within the operation. This position will mostly be assisting our Pantrycook in their daily duties. Culinary experience a plus.
As a Food Service Worker, you need to know how to:Operate cash register and serve customers, may also need to fill in forcashier.Operate various types of kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness. Ensureequipment is in good working condition.Unload freight and place in appropriate locations utilizing FIFO method.Follow all food and safety practices. Complete sanitation/cleaning dutieschecklist appropriately.Coordinate with cook to establish hot food arrangement and timing. Assist inpreparation of cold food items (cold prep and value waste, recordingtemperatures on food and equipment).
Minimum QualificationsPrevious food service and customer service experience, preferred- HighSchool Diploma or equivalent, preferred
