To qualify for this job, we re not so much worried about your education and experience, though prior food service or customer service experience is helpful. Basic Job Duties: --Assist in preparation of meals, set up of trays, assembly area, or resident dining rooms. --Ensure food items are properly portioned and arranged on trays or at tables. --Accurately read menu and place correct items on tray before serving to a patient or resident. --Collect and remove trash to designated containers keeping work areas clean. --Collect assigned trays or clean dining rooms following safety and sanitation standards. --Accurately document intake and output. --Operate cash register and wait on customers as needed. --Work with co-workers to get dishes washed and food carts cleaned within deadlines. --Demonstrate skill and good judgment when using dish machine, disposal, food carts, and other equipment. --Clean work area upon completion of each task.
