Food Preparation Worker; 3 fulltime, temporary, peak load (H-2B) jobs available 4/1/24-12/1/24.

　　Employer: MEI GNY Hospitality, LLC dba Gurney's Resort, 290 Old Montauk Highway, Montauk, NY 11954.

　　Duties: WASH, PEEL CUT MEATS, POULTRY, SEAFOOD, VEGETABLES, SOUPS. KEEP ALL KITCHEN AREAS CLEAN &SANITIZED. WASH, DRY POTS, PANS, SILVERWARE. TAKE GARBAGE OUT TO DUMPSTERS, MOP AND SWEEP FLOORS.

　　Work schedule vary Monday through Sunday from 12am - 12am. 40 hours/week at $18.15/hr. OT possible at $27.23/hr. MAY GET UP TO 20 HOURS OVERTIME WHEN AVAILABLE

　　No minimum education requirement, 6 month experience required.

　　A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. Any potentially authorized deductions for the benefit of the employee would need to comply with Part 195 of the NYS Labor Law. Housing is offered and optional. Cost of housing (which includes utilities and 3 meals per day) if accepted, is $125.00-$150.00 per week. Total cost of housing will be paid directly to employer by employee.

　　Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

　　H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

　　Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.46/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
