Position: Food Pantry Manager
Duties:The Warehouse Manager participates in the operations of the food pantryand warehouse including but not limited to coordination of the volunteers,restocking the food pantry items and participation of food programs.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFood Pantry and Warehouse ResponsibilitiesMaintains food pantry inventory by placing orders with vendors as well aspurchasing food and non-food items from local stores.Trains, schedules, and provides daily supervision of food pantry volunteers.Maintains high cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse and foodpantry.Demonstrates a professional demeanor in all interactions with clients,volunteers, and colleagues.Acts as a first point of contact for the organization by assisting clients inthe food pantry and warehouse area.Performs the procedures and guidelines that are required for all USDA sitesincluding temperature. logs for all dry, refrigeration, and freezer areas.Ensure compliance with all applicable Care and Share and governmentalregulations and health. codes as required by a pantry partner and TEFAP site.Promote and achieve a positive work environment.Receive, sort, and distribute clothing and miscellaneous donations fromthe community.Complete and submit reports per program specific requirements.Ability to push, pull, move, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds, 30%of the time.
Requirements:Valid driver's license.Able to learn how to drive a forklift.

Wage: $15.14 hour
Shift: 40 hours a week Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm. Some Weekends.
