We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Meat Packer and Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and packing meat products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be familiar with meat processing procedures, and possess strong organizational skills. Responsibilities
Inspecting Meat Products: Thoroughly examine meat products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Check for any defects, discrepancies, or contamination during the inspection process.
Packaging and Labeling: Properly pack meat products into designated containers, ensuring accurate weights and quantities. Apply appropriate labels with product information, including expiration dates and batch numbers.
Quality Control: Monitor the production line to maintain consistent quality throughout the packaging process. Report any issues or deviations from standards to the supervisor.
Adhering to Safety Guidelines: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and sanitized to prevent cross-contamination. Follow sanitation protocols for equipment and workspaces.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inspection results, packaging details, and any deviations from quality standards. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including production staff and supervisors, to coordinate efficient packaging and inspection processes.
Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety within the meat packing department.
