WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :
Ensur ing a safe and efficient vehicle fleet; oversee ing the maintenance process including recalls.
Coordinating buy/sell of aging fleet with approval, handling rental logistics when needed, file and maintain vehicle invoices/records.
Investigating accidents with all company vehicles and property, file necessary reports on time and accurately, follow up to completion.
Serving as the company point of contact for all fleet vendors and partners.
Assistingin crafting and modifying the strategic fleet maintenance program.
Managing a computerized data information system for recordkeeping, analysis, and evaluation purposes.
Coordinating vehicle moves with internal and 3rd party logistics providers in response to transfer requests and repair/service requests.
Managing insurance, claims, and ticketing administration, including partnering with fleet vendor on registration renewals for license, tags, and insurance.
Determiningappropriate solutions and cost savings in such areas as preventive maintenance, vehicle availability, vehicle life-cycle costing, risk management and other fleet related areas.
Monitoring and facilitating compliance of vehicle maintenance schedules.
Assistingin the creation of fleet policies and procedures, from vehicle assignments to replacement cycling, from personal use to accident reporting.
Ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and all federal and state regulations, as well as company rules and policies to include conducting internal audits.
Conducting accident reporting to Human Resources and Safety and the subsequent repair and replacement of assets.
Providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance, and fleet progress.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM :
3+ years of fleet and/or relevant logistics experience.
Experience working with external fleet vendors and partners.
Experience in creating and establishing organizational policies and procedures.
Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and U.S. Department of Transportation experience.
Microsoft Office experience, specifically Excel & PowerPoint.
GPS and Telematics system experience.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented.
Ability to interact effectively with other team members.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize, and communicate effectively.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and quickly changing work environment with strict deadlines.
Must be able to work independently without supervision.
