　　WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

　　The Fleet Maintenance Foreman based out of our Phoenix, Arizona operation is a key position at Jensen Precast. Weekly travel is required for maintaining fleet at both our Phoenix and Tucson operations. You’ll lead the activities of the fleet maintenance department to ensure that fleet and heavy equipment is available, dependable and safe at all times and you’ll oversee the fleet preventive maintenance (PM) program.

　　Reporting to our Fleet Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead a team of Fleet Maintenance Mechanics. You’ll work with commercial drivers, forklift drivers, dispatch, and plant leadership to ensure on schedule, safe delivery of Jensen products.

　　A highlight of your day-to-day will include:

　　Leading the activities of the fleet maintenance employees.

　　Troubleshooting employee and fleet maintenance problems and recommending solutions. Assisting drivers with vehicle issues.

　　Engaging in interactive communication. Training employees in the operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policies. Monitoring comprehension and re-training as necessary.

　　Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, returning all tools after use to proper storage location, and performing routine housekeeping (i.e.: cleaning, organizing).

　　Inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, operating, and maintaining diesel trucks, forklifts, and moving equipment.

　　Examining and inspecting work progress to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.

　　Maintaining accurate records of all inspections and maintenance of equipment and recording information such as personnel, production, and operational data on specified forms and reports.

　　Advising supervisor of equipment needing attention.

　　Maintaining fleet for both Phoenix and Tucson plants and travel on a weekly basis

　　Responding to road service calls for fleet vehicles.

You enjoy seeing a task through to completion and take pride in your work. You can successfully support the Manager by being an excellent hands-on lead to a small team.You have experience with diesel engines, brake systems and hydraulics. You’re excellent with basic tools to perform routine maintenance and are familiar with DOT requirements. You don’t take shortcuts. You’re safety conscious not just for yourself, but for your team.
