Key Responsibilities:
Operate handheld grinders to safely remove excess metal from inside and outside castings.Verify fit accuracy by correctly using gaging with different thickness feeler gages.Utilize hoist to manipulate castings to the proper position for fitting/gaging.Keeping track of the part IdentificationKeep work station in good order for the next shift/operatorOccasionally the Fitter will move by hand gaging weighing up to 50 pounds.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.High School Diploma2+ years experience with Grinders/ Hand toolsExperience Environment/Physical Requirements:
